BALDO superfine rice
A large crystal rice established in 1964; Baldo has a large grain and today is becoming increasingly sought after not only on Italian tables but also abroad.
The secret to keeping it al dente is to stop cooking for between 15 and 16 minutes.
A versatile rice as it is also very pleasant consumed in vegetable broth and in traditional soups.
It belongs to the group of superfine rices and owes its origins to the genealogical cross Arborio x STIRPE n. 136, is considered the son of Arborio rice...
Its crystalline and compact structure makes it an excellent ingredient for risottos, rice salads, timbales and rice arancini.
The rice is free of preservative agents, store in a cool, dry place before and after opening the package.
