CRESPIRISO brown rice is produced following an exclusive husking process; it does not undergo bleaching and therefore has a greenish-grey colour. Without the bleaching process, brown rice is much more nutritious than traditional white husked rice; but obviously the uses, the flavour, the grain size and all the other organoleptic characteristics change compared to the corresponding processed rice.
