R iso superfine ROMA
Way back in 1967, the Balilla and Razza 77 rices were crossed at the Experimental Institute for cereal cultivation to obtain a particular rice, named after a large Italian city: ROME.
It is a superfine pearl rice with a significantly developed grain, which releases a good part of its abundant dose of starch during cooking.
Roma adapts very well to the preparation of classic risottos, creamed just right but always with the grains al dente and well separated from each other.
Delicious rice salads and timbales; but also arancini or arancine are often made with this rice
The cooking time of this fantastic rice is shorter than classic risotto rice and this means that it is sometimes preferred to others.
The rice is free of preservative agents, store in a cool, dry place before and after opening the package, Italian rice, not genetically modified.
